Getting Started

Adjusting your stainless steel strap for the ideal fit is quick and simple.
With just a few tools (provided), you can resize it at home without hassle.
This guide will walk you through repositioning the sliding clasp to achieve a secure, personalized fit no cutting required..

What You’ll Need for the Stainless Steel Strap

Before you begin, gather a few simple tools to make the process easy:
• A soft surface to protect your watch
• The included adjustment tool

Step 1: Identify the Links to Remove

Put the watch on your wrist to estimate how many links need to be removed for a comfortable fit.
Mark the links you need to remove using a fine-tip marker or by counting the links on either side of the clasp.
If your strap has a micro-adjustable clasp, you may also want to check that option before removing links.

Step 2: Locate the Link Pins

Look for the small pins that hold the links
together. These pins are usually located on the side of the links.

Some straps have arrows indicating the direction in which the pins should be
pushed out.

Step 3: Remove the Pins

Use a pin pusher tool to carefully push the pin out of the link.
Place the pin pusher tool at one end of the pin and gently tap it with a small hammer (if needed) to push the pin out.
If the pin is difficult to remove, you can try applying a little extra pressure, but be sure not to damage the strap or the pins.

Step 4: Remove the Links

Once the pins are removed, gently separate the links you want to take out.
Carefully detach the links from the strap and set them aside for potential future use if needed.

Step 5: Reassemble the Strap

After removing the necessary links, align the remaining links and reinsert the pin to secure the strap back together.
Push the pin back into the link, ensuring it is seated correctly. You may need to tap it lightly with the hammer to make sure the pin is fully inserted.
